From the entrance to The Ancients' Way, the exit to Arreat Summit is normally found quickly by going left.
Key details
- It is advisable to find the waypoint in The Ancients' Way if it is not encountered at first.
- You must defeat all 3 Ancients without leaving the area.
- If you leave the area or open a town portal, they will reset.
- If no one is alive on the Arreat Summit (everyone is dead or in town), the Ancients will be reset.
- The Ancients remain very tough.
- Try to focus on killing the easiest or weakest one (depends on your class, skills or party) and finish them off.
- Static Field works great on the Ancients without Lightning Immunity.

- The proper levels to complete Rite of Passage: Quest, without wasting any Experience is: 37 Normal, 67 Nightmare, and 76 Hell.
- Tip: Remember to activate a Town Portal to instantly reset the ancient's back to stone if you're about to die or they roll with bad immune affixes.
- Nightmare: 20 million, Clvl 40 required.
- Upon defeating them the statues turn Gold.
