Jah belongs to the group of most desirable high runes in the game.

Online, it is more common than Ber runes even with being higher on the list of runes.
It is a part of many top level runewords, in particular Enigma.
Every single one of its runewords are workable in some fashion, though Famine is moderately weak in comparison to other options.
It is also favored for putting into Helms and Shields for the health bonus, further increasing it's value.
In single player, it's one of the most difficult runes to get because it is not retrievable through Lower Kurast runs, while being one of the key runes because it enables classes other than Sorceress to be able to Teleport.
