Description
Recipe: Elite Version of Set Armor upgrades the base item of an Exceptional quality set armor item to Elite version of the base item.
Key details
- For instance, Griswold's Heart would have its base item Ornate Plate (Exceptional) upgraded to Sacred Armor (Elite).
- Note that its level requirement would become the requirement of the upgraded item's elite quality +7 (ie.
- Sacred Armor Griswold's Heart = 66+7), or in case the exceptional item already has a higher level req. than the elite base, the new level req. is the previous level +7 (ie.
- Demonhead Tal Rasha's Horadric Crest = 66+7)
- Upgrading a set item from normal all the way to elite confers a lvl req of +12 (+5 and +7) in total over the base item!
D2Emu Tips
- Upgrading to an Elite base adds 7 levels to the highest requirement imposed by the current item, its base, its affixes, or anything socketed in it.
- Check the Elite base's Strength and Dexterity requirements before upgrading so the character or mercenary can still equip it.
