Laying of Hands is consistently the best choice for most PvM physical characters that can utilize % Damage to Demons. an enormous boost to Fire Resist is also highly effective is areas where fire damage is often encountered, including Chaos Sanctuary.

Key details

The sole other gloves that can top Laying of Hands for characters that want it are rare gloves with +2 skills (Javelin, Bow, or Martial Arts), 20 IAS, and other effective mods, including resistances or Magic Find; still, these are incredibly rare.

Evidently, the +350% damage vs Demons only applies to physical contact with an enemy (and bows).
For those that need specific Breakpoints, and 20 ias on gloves is not enough, the only option is a 2 Set Item bonus:-( - 30% ias Death's Hand + another Death's Disguise item Sigon's Gage + another Sigon's Complete Steel item - 25% ias Immortal King's Forge + another Immortal King item.
Instead of one of the set gloves + set Belt above, You may have 30 ias with Laying of Hands (or another 20 ias gloves) + Nosferatu's Coil or Goldwrap (the only belts with ias).
Blood crafted gloves can also roll with +20% Increased Attack Speed which may be preferable for Smiter Paladin (if you're lucky enough to roll such a pair with this and the max 10% crushing blow) because the +350% damage to demons does not work with Smite.
