Because it does not preclude the use of powerful helm and body armor options, Trang-Oul's Girth is the preferred third piece - after Trang-Oul's Claws - for unlocking the powerful "-25% To Enemy Poison Resistance" 3-piece bonus found on Trang-Oul's Wing.
Trang-Oul's Girth + Trang-Oul's Claws can serve as a decent alternative to Magefist + Arachnid Mesh for Fireball Sorceresses unable to afford the coveted Spiderweb Sash.
Perfect for a Frenzy Barbarian farming Travincal, who needs to not shatter bodies due to Ravenfrost having some Cold damage.
