Valkyrie Wing is an interesting helmet with its odd assortment of stats.

Key details

  • It is mostly intended for use by Amazons for the + Skills, but other classes may find the Faster Run/Walk effective as well.
  • It is not typically chosen because of its underwhelming stats, and is overshadowed by the greater offensive stats offered by Guillaume's Face, the enormous Magic Find from Harlequin Crest, or sometimes by rare Circlets with good affixes.
  • In patches 1.07 and 1.08, Valkyrie Wing had 30% Faster Cast Rate, Faster Hit Recovery, Faster Run/Walk, and Increased Attack Speed.
  • They would become one of the most desired unique items in later patches since they opened up new builds with their combination of FCR and IAS, and because of becoming unobtainable as a legacy item.

  • Socketed with a 5\5 lite facet and a lite sunder charm, if you use a Javazon with t strokes this becomes a very nice, relatively cheap build.
