Even with being not as favored as Grief / Beast / BotD weaponry, Kingslayer is strong and reliable choice.

Key details

  • All bonuses complement each other surprisingly well, allowing the comfortable gameplay for its wielder (most likely a barbarian or shifter druid) even in hell difficulty.
  • Solid speed, and solid crushing blow, supported by prevent healing and open wounds, keeps the weapon workable no matter how thick the enemies are.
  • Overall - Kingslayer is a fair example of underrated, yet very effective weapon, well worthy of its rune cost.

D2Emu Tips

  • The +1 Vengeance featured on this weapon is an oskill, meaning it can be used by members of any class.
  • -25% Target Defense applies to all enemies, where as Ignore Target's Defense f.e. doesn't work on bosses.
  • Useful for Melee Uber Tristram builds if you don't have another source of Open Wounds (such as Dracs or Gore Riders), and the crushing blow definitely helps too.
  • It's a good weapon but the runes requeired are relatively high.
