Description

Even with its solid offensive capabilities, chance of Deadly strike and its ability to ignore the target's defense, the Heart Carver is often chosen as a secondary "swap" weapon for Barbarians making use of Find Item.

  • With the Patch 2.4 change to Blade Mastery--which extended the effects of that skill to Daggers--a pair of well-rolled Heart Carvers that have been "upped" with Recipe: Elite Version of Unique Weapon are a surprisingly effective budget option for a Whirlwind Barbarian.
  • While this item is most discussed for it's use in endgame Find Item builds, it's really easy to overlook just how good this weapon's midgame damage is.
  • Use both Gull and Heart Carver for a cool off-hand setup as a magic Find Item Barbarian.
