Description

Hellwarden's Will is tailored to the Warlock class, but its usefulness is not limited only to that.

Key details

  • It sports a bonus to all skills along with a rather high 20% Increased Attack Speed, allowing for use cases much like Andariel's Visage.
  • On the other hand, it delivers Faster Cast Rate and -X% to Enemy Fire Resistance, allowing for use cases much like Ravenlore or Flickering Flame.
  • The most remarkable affix of this mask, still, is the extremely rare -X% to Enemy Magic Resistance.
  • This property is of particular interest to Hammerdins, Bone Necromancers, and Berserk-ers.

  • Magic damage builds want Guardian's Light, and fire damage builds want Defender's Fire (alternatively, they might use Rainbow Facet: Fire Death or Rainbow Facet: Fire Level-up, if they can't get a colossal jewel, or if they already have one on a different piece of gear).
  • If you plan to use both Hellwarden's Will and Ars Dul'Mephistos on your Miasma Warlock and you want to use a Guardian's Light (obviously!) and an Um rune, then put the Um rune in the book and the jewel in the helmet, because an Um in a shield/book gives you 22 all res, but in a helmet only 15 all res!
