Description

This shield, even with looking like utterly useless thing, is still efficient - but only being chosen by Aldur-wearing druids ( Fire Claws+armag build).

Key details

  • Even coloration of it complements Aldur set properly.
  • Main trick here is Lower Resist proc trigger for increasing overall fire dps. (This is why no increased blocking on it - it's effectively an off-hand weapon, not protection).
  • Low block chance is actually a boon, not a problem for such druid - he wants to get hit instead of parrying.
  • Besides, its huge strength requirement isn't a big concern because of enormous strength bonus Aldur set grants.
  • Aside from that, Medusa's Gaze practical value is minimal.

  • Another useful tip about this shield - Lower Resist by itself here still can't help against immunes - but combined with Infinity of your mercenary, picture changes Minotaur packs, Lister pack, and many other Infi-resistant immunes start to burn like paper.
