Key details

  • As IK is only effective for Barbarians and Verdungo’s can be difficult to acquire, String of Ears is a great damage reduction belt that is comparatively straightforward to farm or trade for.
  • The life steal % is a big plus too for any physical damage characters.

  • The String of Ears is the only belt with a Magic Damage Reduced By affix (aside from the Safety Belt) - and it offers a rather high bonus, at that - making it a solid choice for Energy Shield users.
  • Not to be confused with a String of Ear s.
  • If you ever want a demonstration of this Belt, wear it for a while, then take it off for anything else that isn't also a direct damage reduction Belt.
  • Reported farming targets include Andariel (Q-Bug), Mephisto, Diablo, Baal, and other listed targets.
