Description

Thunderstroke is often chosen to quickly defeat bosses using Charged Strikes, because of the added Lightning damage and reduced enemy Lightning resistance.

Key details

  • It is also preferred over Titan's Revenge in player vs. player scenarios.
  • It is not highly effective in general PvM scenarios, as it has a low stack size and lacks the self replenishing effect that is found on other items, including Titan's Revenge.

  • Arguably even better weapon is a "6/40" (+6 javelin skills, +40% Increased Attack Speed) magic Amazon javelin.
  • It should be noted that the -15% to Enemy Lightning Resist of Thunderstroke pairs well with the sundering property of Crack of the Heavens, particularly when Infinity, Griffon's Eye, and/or Rainbow Facets are not already in use.
