Description

Creates a potent lightning bolt to lay waste to your enemies.

The Lightning skill fires a long stream of concentrated shock, passing through every target in a straight line.
Lightning is best used against mobs, or in narrow corridors, so multiple monsters can be hit with each cast.
Lightning utilizes the Last Collide mechanic, meaning a bolt passing over a target will not damage that target if it was the last unit damaged by the bolt.
Whether a target is the last unit the Lightning has collided with is determined on a per-frame basis.
This can result in a target being damaged multiple times by a single bolt if there is another target behind it that can become the "last-collided-with" unit while the Lightning animation is still in contact with the first target.

Not to be confused with Lightning Bolt.
Oddly, Lightning uses a slightly slower cast animation than the Sorceress's other skills.
If you are playing in Resurrected mode, this ability's projectiles provide a decent amount of light, illuminating the dark as it travels.
