Description
Summons a Meteor from the heavens to crush and incinerate your enemies.
Key details
- Casting Delay: 1.2 seconds
- Meteor takes some skill to use.
- Meteors take a bit of time to land, and the radius is fixed at 4 yards.
- This makes it straightforward to miss monsters when you are retreating from them yourself or when they are moving around.
- When by yourself, walk in a straight line, and cast a Meteor up ahead of your path.
- Walk forward into the Meteor as it lands, leading the Monsters behind you into its impact point.
- With some practice, you can get this down.
- If you're able to take some hits, cast many Meteor on yourself, stop, and let the monsters come up to attack you, which will set them up for a storm of Meteor.
- When in parties with melee party members, cast Meteor on top of them as they fight.
- This will allow them to quickly finish a monster off.
- Whenever possible cast Meteor on monsters across valleys or rivers.
D2Emu Tips
- To avoid frequent skill switching, set Fireball under LMB and Meteor under RMB.
- The 4-piece set bonus of "Trang-Oul's Avatar" grants a level 10 Meteor Oskill.
- Patch 2.4: Meteor Casting Delay will no longer share its cooldown with other skills that have Casting Delays Tooltip updated to now display Casting Delay.
- If you are playing in Resurrected mode, this ability's projectile provides a large radius of light, illuminating the dark where it impacts.
