Description
D2R 2.5 Bone Break belongs to the group of new Sundering Charms.
Key details
- When placed in the inventory (not in Horadric Cube), it reduces all enemies' physical immunity (100%+ physical resistance) to 95% resistance along with confers -20% to -10% physical resistance to your character.
- Physical resistance is listed under advanced stats, if it's higher or lower than zero, and increases (if in negative values) the damage suffered from physical attacks, which is the most of all sources.
- Bone Break only drops from champion, superunique, or boss-type monsters in terrorized zones on Hell difficulty with a relative drop chance of 1:17 (on average 1 in 17 sunder charms dropped could be a bone break).
- D2R 2.6 Now also available in offline games and nonladder online games.
D2Emu Tips
- Amplify Damage and Decrepify curses apply at 100% potential against sundered enemies, unlike Conviction, Lower Resist and Cold Mastery, which all apply at 1/5 effectivenes against previously immune, now sundered, enemies.
- Damage Reduced by X% (the ingame wording for the effect "Physical Resist +X%", i.e. the opposite of the penalty imposed by this charm) is rare as compared to elemental resistances.
- Raise Skeleton and the Physical damage component of Corpse Explosion will deal about five times as much damage against a Physical Immunity broken with Bone Break and followed up with Amplify Damage or Decrepify than a 100% Physical Immunity broken with either Curse alone.
- Although doesn't have much physical immunes in the game and this immunity is easily broken, if a char wields a Bone Break, Amplify Damage and decripify will have 100% effecitiveness on immunes.
- None of the "Original Sundering Charms" ( Black Cleft, Bone Break, Cold Rupture, Crack of the Heavens, Rotting Fissure, Flame Rift) can be obtained in RoW (Reign of the Warlock).
- Important notice: To make it work for your summons (e.g. wolves, skeletons, Valkyrie), you HAVE to summon them with the charm ON (in inventory).
