Description
D2R 2.5 Rotting Fissure belongs to the group of new Sundering Charms.
Key details
- When placed in the inventory (not in Horadric Cube), it reduces all enemies' poison immunity (100%+ poison resistance) to 95% resistance along with confers -70% to -90% poison resistance to your character.
- Poison resistance is listed directly in your character screen and negative values can be counter by any +% poison resist gear.
- Rotting Fissure only drops from champion, superunique, or boss-type monsters in terrorized zones on Hell difficulty with a relative drop chance of 2:17 (on average 2 in 17 sunder charms dropped could be rotting fissure).
- D2R 2.6 Now also available in offline games and nonladder online games.

- Rotting Fissure sits in a good spot among sunder charms, with Death's Web, Plague, and Grief providing substantial sources of -X% to Enemy Poison Resistance.
- None of the "Original Sundering Charms" ( Black Cleft, Bone Break, Cold Rupture, Crack of the Heavens, Rotting Fissure, Flame Rift) can be obtained in RoW (Reign of the Warlock).
