Key details

  • It also grants a large amount of flat damage reduction, which is critical for some builds or anyone trying to survive bugged Tomb Viper damage on their way to Nihlathak.
  • With its resistances on top, it's one of the best defensive shields in the game together with Stormshield.

  • Flat 'damage reduced by' can be stacked to provide better physical protection that 'damage reduction %' (which is capped at 50%).
  • Because Energy Shield diverts damage to the mana orb before [Magic] Damage Reduced By X is applied, Gerke's Sanctuary can go a long way in negating whatever damage would otherwise be directed the the health orb.
