Description

Ormus' Robes is the strongest offensive armor for Sorceress skills relying on a singular skill that isn't unlocked at level 30.

Still, it lacks any potent defensive bonuses and is often overlooked for Tal Rasha's Guardianship with the amulet and belt from the same set for a high amount of Magic Find, or a Skin of the Vipermagi, which has higher FCR and great resistances.
The best skills to find are normally Blizzard, Nova, Enchant, Lightning, Chain Lightning, Frost Nova, Meteor, Energy Shield and Fireball.

Act 3 Iron Wolf mercenaries can benefit from the +3 bonus to a random Sorceress skill (Sorceress Only) from Ormus' Robes, as long as they possess that skill.
Ormus' Robes do not play nicely with Fire Mastery and Lightning Mastery, as those skills provide huge bonuses to their respective damage types that eclipse the contribution of the Robes.
At the risk of stating the obvious, a +15% to Fire Skill Damage Ormus' Robes featuring +3 to Enchant that is socketed with a +5% to Fire Skill Damage Rainbow Facet is the best available armor for prebuffing with that skill.
Patch 2.7: The Assassin's trap skills now benefit from +% To Elemental Skill Damage modifiers.
