Description

Eternity sports the Indestructible attribute, meaning it can be safely applied to an ethereal weapon for increased base damage.

Key details

  • Still, its runes are far more pricey than Death, Oath, or even Breath of the Dying, making Eternity the least-used of the bunch.
  • While Eternity does offer the ever-desirable Cannot be Frozen, it does so at a significant cost to the potency of the weapon's other attributes when compared against these competitors.
  • That said, the combination of Slows Target and Crushing Blow can be a potent boon when facing Ubers.
  • Notably an ethereal Eternity will not be able to recover expended Revive charges.

D2Emu Tips

  • Interestingly, a Paladin will lose 1/8 of his maximum life when he uses Revive charges, and he can even kill himself by doing so.
  • This is a sick Runeword, especially for ethereal one-handed Berserker Axe.
  • It’s a good runeword but the cost of a Ber rune and a Sur rune makes it an unpopular choice.
  • The first letters of the runes used in this runeword spell "ABISS"; assuming this refers to the Abyss, this seems like a bad place to spend Eternity.
