Key details

  • Though it grants lower base damage than Windforce, it has a smaller damage range at higher levels for more consistent damage output.
  • The ignoring target defense as well huge boost to AR means more hits and further makes every arrow count.
  • This is boosted by the Fanaticism aura nicely.
  • The reanimating Returned can seem less than effective, but they do grant an extra layer of melee protection for the Bowazon, meaning more things other than the merc and Valkyrie to take aggro, turning into a tangential boost to survival for the zon.
  • Because of the Fanaticism aura, this weapon is a favored choice for Rogue hirelings to boost the player character with the aura.

D2Emu Tips

  • Whilst minimally effective in combat, they still benefit from Fanaticism, and they roam around near where they spawn to attack enemies.
  • The chance of a perfect roll is 1/8 or 12.5%.
  • Some builds such as a Bowazon or Dream Paladin will use Faith on an Act I mercenary to benefit from the Fanaticism aura.
