Dream is a costly runeword, but also a very strong and favored one, and is chosen for the 'Auradin' builds.

Key details

  • Auradins are costly to build because of the runes used in this runeword coupled with the fact that they use two of these on their character, as it can be made in both Helms and Shields.
  • When equipped with two Dream runewords, you get the combined effect of the Holy Shock aura on equip; thus, the result is a level 30 Holy Shock aura.
  • Even with the high level, unsynergized aura is weak; that's why it'd used mostly by paladins with maxed synergies ( Resist Lightning, Salvation).
  • Alternatively, a sorceress build can boost it with Lightning Mastery.

  • The same combination that allows building an Auradin is the basis for building a famous melee sorc wielding Passion in a Phase Blade that actually is able to solo Ubers.
  • A skill level 15 Holy Shock aura has the following properties: Lightning Damage to your attack: 1-648 Lightning Damage Pulse: 1-108 Pulse Radius (yards): 13.3 A skill level 30 Holy Shock aura has the following properties: Lightning Damage to your attack: 1-1668 Lightning Damage Pulse: 1-278 Pulse Radius (yards): 23.3.
  • It should be noted that the melee damage component of the Holy Shock aura provided by Dream will be affected by Lightning Mastery twice.
