Key details

  • It is very easily farmable at The Countess on Normal difficulty.
  • Finding an El Rune takes an average of 10 Countess Runs, so keep your El runes if you find one and plan to make this runeword!

D2Emu Tips

  • It's useful to note that the Drain Life -5 has no effect on mercenaries (hirelings), and a Desert Mercenary armed with a Malice Halberd is formidable, while waiting for Insight 12 levels later (for example).
  • Fun fact: Malice actually has -1 to Light Radius but because El Rune provides +1 to Light Radius, they cancel out and the +0 to Light Radius becomes hidden.
  • The health degeneration effect alone cannot kill your character.
  • You can counter the Drain Life -5 mod with the Replenish Life +5 or more mod.
